The walk for cancer was held in our town last Friday night. Despite the terrible weather we'd had all week , there was nary a drop of rain that night . Even the mosquitos left us alone until just after sunrise . Amazing !There was a very good turnout and at the end of the night $188,000 was raised for the Canadian Cancer Society . I can't believe that I was able to stay up and walk for 8 of the 12 hours that we were there . Must be the Tim's coffee that did it . Thanks to the husbands who kept us supplied , couldn't have done it without you guys !
This was my first time doing this but it certainly won't be my last .
As for the yarn giveaway , I'll be sending yarn out to Sherri and Monika . I'm so happy and grateful for the support that I received and can't thank everyone enough ...
