WIP Wednesday Aug 17

Wow,it's time for another WIP Wednesday already ! We've been so busy with family , friends and grand kids that the week has just flown by . Plus , we've had spectacularly nice summer weather , so there's not much temptation to do fibery things . That being said , I've made progress on all of last weeks wips . The crochet blanket is finished except for weaving in the ends  . Yay , I'll actually have a FO for Friday ! The little  red cardi has the back and only one of the front pieces left to do , then it's on to the sleeves . As for Stella's cardi , I'm still wavering on the buttons . I haven't been able to find any buttons that just scream ' perfect ' to me , so I'll have to start looking further afield . Who'd of thought finding buttons would be such a challenge ? Last but not least , I'm at the gusset decreases of sock # 1.

That's it in a nutshell . To see who's joined  Tami's WIP Wednesday and what they're working on click here . Have a great day !

I know what you mean about the weather! The first week of August was rainy, but otherwise it's been a fabulous summer!

Hurray, a finished object for Friday! I'm scrambling to sort something out for that!

Hi! It sure sounds like you have done a lot to say that you don't think you have done much this week ;) I like that sock and wooo for FO's. I have my first for ages for this Friday too. Have a good week.

I am terrible for deciding on buttons - it has to be perfect - no mediocre buttons on my knitting!

I like your sock. Yay, for having FO's.

Those socks are stunning. Buttons are the worse part of my FO's. I seem to take much longer to find them than anything else.

So excited about FO on Friday! But I feel your pain sewing in the ends.

Sounds like a lot of progress :) I'm doing gusset decreases for my sock too. Love your sock yarn

Love the sock yarn. I am amazed at how much more I am knitting right now and it's so pretty outside. But I am happy to be inside with the wool! Can't wait for the weather to change enough to allow me to knit outside.
